Andiamo! Taxi and Trips was founded in 2002 by Lello Tinelli, who at the time, was seeking to build a career that aligned with his life passions. Humble, hospitable and gracious, the business has grown over the years and now, Lello and his partner, Simona, host repeat clients from around the world thanks to kind referrals.
Andiamo, which means, ‘Let’s Go!’, is ready to assist with any and all of your travel needs within Tuscany.

Ciao! My name is Lello! Not a really common name indeed, but it is the diminutive for Antonello.
I started by business in 2002. The beginning was definitely not easy as I did not speak English and I did not have any knowledge of the tourism field. Before starting my business, I was a pastry chef. I grew up between stoves: my grandmother had a small pastry shop during WWII and my father had a restaurant. I followed in their footsteps. After many years, I decide to change my career and build a business that would provide more freedom, the ability to follow my passion for travel, and the opportunity to meet people from around the world. To build my business, for seven years, I would travel to California to learn english and work. I bought a car in Salvation Army and worked many odd but honest jobs. I come from humble roots and it is very much my personality today (and why you do not find us on social media).
My business has grown substantially and I am honored to treat clients as dear guests. I prefer to keep my business ‘boutique’ so I can offer the ultimate personalized service and top-notch professionalism. As such, I have built a wonderfully loyal client base and have had the privilege of driving Tom Hanks and family, Steven Spielberg, Andrea Bocelli, Loreena McKennitt, Martin Short, Steve Martin and many others. Fortunately, Tuscany, where I live and operate my business, is a land full of cultural treasures and natural wonders that receives people from all parts of the world. Meeting wonderful people and ensuring a most memorable holiday, reaffirms my choice to change careers so many years ago. I am happy I followed my passion.
When I am not driving and touring clients, I enjoy being outdoors in the countryside on my Vespa. My other passions include drawing, painting, mosaics, cultivating my garden and taking care of my chickens. I love life, travel, and above all else, I enjoy being in nature. I try my best to preserve it.

Hello, my name is Simona!
I moved to Tuscany about five years ago, but it all started in May of 2009 when I visited Italy for a friend’s wedding. I met Lello for the first time during that trip and little by little, I was introduced to his way of living – his hobbies and his work. When we decided to live together, I had no doubt that I wanted to do his same job. Back home, I studied tourism and I was a tour guide, so I was more than happy to join him in his business.
I am passionate about foreign languages and meeting new people. I also love road trips and I just love my job because it combines both.
